What is the Kitchen Tour?

The Kitchen Tour is a unique delight for the senses. Patrons tour grand homes in Summerville and sample gourmet dishes prepared by premier Lowcountry chefs and restaurants. Local musicians are scheduled to perform in homes or gardens, and area florists will grace the interior décor with floral arrangements. Complimentary beer and wine is provided from local distributors. This annual event takes place on the first Sunday in October.

What is the Pinwheel Gala?

The Pinwheel Gala kicks off the Kitchen Tour weekend with an elegant Casino Themed evening featuring live entertainment, heavy hors d’oeuvres, open bar and a charity silent option that cannot be missed.

Dorchester Children’s Advocacy Center is a 501(c)(3) organization, serving children who have suffered the trauma of abuse. Children In Crisis, Inc. operates the only Children’s Advocacy Center in Dorchester County and we are proud that we have provided services for over 10,000 children of Dorchester and Berkeley Counties since opening our doors in December of 2003. These services include forensic interviews, forensic medical examinations, as well as, individual child, family, and group therapy sessions. In total, we have provided thousands of units of service for children and families in our area.
