Kid’s Closet @ Dorchester Children’s Advocacy Center
Jan 1 – Dec 30 all-day

DCAC offers 3 different Kids Care Programs year round. Our Kids Care Programs assist DCAC families in providing essential items for the children receiving services at our center. These programs are an important service offered by DCAC because many of the caregivers utilizing DCAC services have taken in a relative or family member unexpectedly to help avoid a child(ren) from entering the foster care system. Often times caregivers do not receive any financial or additional support for taking loved ones into their home. DCAC counts on donations from local churches, individuals, businesses, schools, and organizations to run each of these programs. In addition to items, we also accept gift cards and monetary donations which are used to purchase items for our families in need.

Kid’s Closet

All Year Long

As a way to further help our families, we collect hygiene products all year round to distribute to clients that may have difficulty getting them otherwise.

Needs include but are not limited to: shampoo and conditioner (for all types), brushes, deodorant, soap, body wash, lotion, wash clothes, toothbrushes, toothpaste, diapers, feminine products, and floss.

If you are an individual, business, or organization interested in setting up a Donation Drive to benefit DCAC, please contact Alexis & Aaronette at aaikens@dorchestercac.org & atalton@dorchestercac.org or 843-875-1551.

Any gift cards or monetary donations to support one of our Kids Care Programs can be made online on our donations page or mailed to:

Dorchester Children’s Advocacy Center
303 E. Richardson Ave.
Summerville, SC 2948

Please be sure to specify which program you would like to support.
