The mission of our center is to provide a coordinated, evidence-based response to child abuse that reduces trauma and provides treatment for the children and families in our community in a safe child-focused environment. The National Children’s Alliance (NCA) is the national association and accrediting body for Children’s Advocacy Centers (CACs). Formed in 1988, NCA has been providing support, technical assistance, and quality assurance for CACs, while serving as a voice for abused children for more than 25 years.
The South Carolina Network of Children’s Advocacy Centers (SCNCAC) is an Accredited State Chapter of the National Children’s Alliance. SCNCAC represents all seventeen local Children’s Advocacy Centers (CACs) in South Carolina.

For Professionals
Each year over 3 million children become victims of child abuse. A key component to preventing and responding to child abuse and neglect is education and collaboration with professionals throughout the community. Set up a child abuse prevention educational training today!
